Create and edit video with your AI agent

decodx gives your AI agent a real video skill. Every command is non-interactive and every artifact is schema-validated JSON — so an agent can author, render, and revise a video end to end.

Create from a brief

Hand the agent a plain-English brief; it drafts a scene spec — narration, captures, avatar, music — and renders a finished video.

Edit by editing the spec

Every video is a committed spec. The agent changes a headline, swaps a clip, or retimes a scene by editing text — no timeline scrubbing.

Re-render for free

Content-hash caching means a tweak re-renders only what changed. The agent can iterate dozens of times without re-buying assets.

Review before spending

Costs are estimated up front and gated behind approval, so an agent never runs up a bill — it proposes, you (or a policy) approve.

The skill library

Twenty ready-made skills — from launch videos to voice swaps. Click one to read it, copy it, and drop it into your agent's skill folder.

Claude Code plugin

Install decodx's own skills in two commands

The decodx plugin is public on GitHub. It connects Claude Code to the decodx MCP server and adds three skills: decodx-video makes a video that renders on the first try, decodx-api writes code against the REST API (CI renders, webhooks, embeds), and decodx-docs reads the current docs instead of guessing. Other agents can read the same skill files from the repo.

One verb vocabulary

The same commands, from a shell or an agent

decodx speaks one command vocabulary across its CLI and API, so an agent uses the exact commands a person would. It authors the spec, renders it in the cloud, and reads back a structured report — no screen, no clicking.
